Entering 2025, preparation is my top priority! I decisively parted ways with procrastination last week, and it is now a thing of the past! Grateful to JESUS for this victory! To become your best self, it is crucial to understand the significance of preparation and organization. I have discovered that being organized not only showcases maturity but also demonstrates readiness to work, thereby enhancing the likelihood of success.
As I humbly venture into the realm of sponsorships, proposals, and new business endeavors, I fully grasp the crucial significance of thorough preparation for this exciting journey. Through my experiences, I have gained a profound understanding of the consequences of being unprepared. In the following discussion, I will outline four compelling reasons why it is imperative for you to break up with procrastination as well. Besides, who wants to go into a new season discombobulated? Not us!
Here are 4 reasons we are breaking up with BROKEEEEY procrastination!
Being prepared is key to seizing amazing opportunities!
When you surround yourself with exceptional individuals, you'll observe their impressive demeanor! They show elegance, possess strong communication skills, and display impeccable manners. This is a critical moment were allowing intimidation to take over could result in missed chances if you're not vigilant! Ensure you're at the top of your game in these scenarios to grow and succeed rather than succumb to defeat which the enemy wants! Back to topic procrastination is of the enemy! Remember that.
Procrastination can lead to ANXIETY!
Procrastination is simply the older sibling of being unprepared. Consider this typical daily scenario: You set your alarm for 6 am, giving yourself the luxury of a slow morning before heading to work at 9:00 am. You rise, take a refreshing shower, follow your skincare routine, sip some tea, and relax until it's time to choose your outfit. Arriving at work at least 30 minutes early, you have time to prepare for the day ahead. Surprisingly, traffic is a non-issue because you weren't in a hurry. Your skin is radiant because you took the time for self-care. Your appearance is polished because you selected your attire thoughtfully, rather than rushing. Best of all, anxiety is nearly nonexistent because you were proactive and disciplined enough to wake up a few hours earlier.
Togetherness is of God!
Let's elevate our preparation to a new level! We've already discussed the significance of surface-level preparedness, now let's look into the essence of it! As Matthew 25:13 states, "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour." The second coming of Christ may be unpredictable, but we must be ready, like the parable of the ten virgins. Our readiness for the return of the bride of Christ goes beyond waking up early but it's a crucial beginning! Let's adopt a prayerful stance and ask for Jesus' assistance in enhancing our preparedness.
You can do all things through Chris who strengthens us.
It's essential to recognize that implementing these changes may pose challenges but remember that challenges are inevitable. It's up to you to decide which challenges you are willing to confront head-on. As mentioned earlier, being unprepared can result in missed opportunities, blessings, and unnecessary stress. Remember, with Jesus by our side, we can overcome any obstacle, no matter how big or small. Don't underestimate the power of seeking His guidance during this transition. The issue of procrastination arose for me when I failed to prepare adequately!
I leave you with a message from our fellow brother in Christ, Paul.
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Love you!! See you next time.
